Clay Play: Luminary Carving

Warm your home with our very own ceramic tea light luminary! Beginner friendly, all materials and firing service included!
Each participant will receive a porcelain cup thrown by our talented staff that you will spend the evening designing and carving into a magical light scene. Your instructor will share tips and techniques for successful porcelain carving as well as design considerations. You can choose to either try your hand at more delicate surface carving or direct hole cutting to allow light to dance through your cup. After instruction, the rest of class will be dedicated to creativity and socialization as you add details and decorations to your luminary. Luminaries will be finished with a clear glossy glaze inside by RECC and be ready to pick up in approximately 3 weeks.
